Glock - we're optimistic

SILVERSTONE - The countdown continues

TIMO Glock will go into this afternoon's British Grand Prix bristling with confidence after an impressive qualifying drive which sees him start 19th on the grid.

And hopes are high within the Virgin camp that both Glock and team-mate Lucas Di Grassi will continue the positive form shown last time out in Valencia.

In that race, both drivers were able to race from start to finish for the whole race and, despite a few niggles in free practice and yesterday's qualifying, everything in the camp is pointing towards another good day.

That, of course, may be tempting fate but Glock - who has so far had a frustrating year - is aiming to get back on the right track and stay there.

"Everything is good and we're happy and optimistic," said Glock.

"We had a good day in qualifying and this is a chance for us to make a mark."

Glock starts 19th on the grid with Di Grassi in 22nd..

The race starts at 1pm and we'll be back afterwards with a full report and driver analysis.
