Glock tempers Virgin disappointment

SILVERSTONE - Post Race

VIRGIN Racing will go away with plenty of positives after mixed fortunes in the British Grand Prix.

The disappointment of Lucas Di Grassi's tenth lap pull-out was tempered by Timo Glock's 18th position - which would have been a place higher but for being passed by Lotus rival Jarno Trulli in the final stages.

Glock drove an otherwise trouble-free race, following on from a a similar outing in Valencia a fortnight ago, but Di Grassi's bright start came to an end when his car was hit by hydraulic problems.

Aussie Mark Webber took the win after a dramatic first corner tussle with pole-starter Sebastian Vettell, finishing well clear of Brit Lewis Hamilton and third-placed Nico Rosberg.
