Get behind us, says Ronnie

ROTHERHAM United boss Ronnie Moore wants supporters to turn out in force and roar the the team to Wembley tomorrow night.

The Millers take a 1-0 lead into the League Two play-off semi-final second leg against Aldershot at Don Valley and are in pole position to book a place in the final on Sunday, May 30.

While accepting that the atmosphere at Rotherham's temporary home isn't the best, Moore has called upon the crowd to make the place as intimidating as possible for the opposition.

"The crowd can play a massive part," he said. "It's hard to get an atmosphere going but hopefully we can get the noise level up and it would be nice to see 6,500 or so there."

Moore though admitted the Millers would have been better off if the second leg was at their old home at Millmoor.

"Aldershot is a tight ground with a great atmosphere but we don't have that at Don Valley," he said.

"If we were going back to Millmoor 1-0 up for the second leg, the crowd would have been right on top of us and we would have had some sort of advantage but there is no real home advantage at Don Valley.

"We're trying to make the best of it and we need to for this important game."
