Games brushed aside by the snow

THE snow decimated the weekend's outdoor sport - but one hardy rugby team did get a game.

With the Millers not having a fixture and Titans' trip to Nottingham having been postponed, the weekend white-out also meant that all the local non-league and junior games were called-off.

Ronnie Moore's Millers are next in action at Gillingham on Saturday and the Titans take on London Welsh at home.

But take a bow Dinnington Rugby's third team, whose game at Market Rasen was given the go-ahead despite poor conditions at the Lincolnshire ground.

They eventually made it - and were rewarded with a 24-15 victory!
