Free book for every child at this Saturday's Millers game as part of World Book Day

CHILDREN heading to Rotherham United's home game on Saturday can get their hands on one of 12 exclusive books from a pop-up stall.

CHILDREN heading to the Millers’ home game on Saturday can get their hands on one of 12 exclusive books from a pop-up stall for free.

The initiative is part of World Book Day and is being supported by WHSmith, the National Literacy Trust and the Premier League

World Book Day tokens will be handed out to all children attending the club’s fixture against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

The tokens can then be exchanged at the WHSmith stall at the New York Stadium Fanzone for one of the 12 exclusive 2019 World Book Day books [subject to availability].

Next Thursday’s (7) World Book Day is a global initiative to ensure every child has a book of their own and is the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK.

Pop-up book stalls will be at football club match days across the UK this March.
