MILLERS boss Steve Evans has been delighted with the way his squad is shaping up, having brought in stopper Kelle Roos and Farrend Rawson from Derby on loan.

Roos, on a year-long deal, will push Adam Collin for a starting jersey while Rawson, who had a four-game spell at the New York last year, has signed for six months.

Said Evans: “Kelle comes to the Millers with some very high references. These include the likes of current Newcastle United boss Steve McLaren and the lad will now commence battle with Adam Collin to secure a starting place in the team.

“Farrend’s performances during his loan spell last season can only be described as outstanding, and I believe the lad will go on and play in the Premier League.”
