'Electric' Bell-Baggie impresses Ronnie

HIS name might be nearly unpronounceable but he could yet become Rotherham United's secret weapon.

Ronnie Moore stumbled upon jet-heeled winger Abdulai Bell-Baggie by accident while taking in a reserves game between Exeter and Reading at Farborough.

Moore had gone along to watch Exeter player (and subsequent signing) Craig McAllister but it was a Shaun Wright-Phillips look-alike and play-alike on the Reading side who also caught his eye.

Moore explained: "In the first minute Bell-Baggie picked it up. He had electric pace and went by people.

"Someone knocked the ball over the top and the other lad had 20 yards start but he got it and kept it in. He beat people and got crosses in.

"I never knew him before that. I'd never seen him.

"He excited me so I thought, let's get him in and have a look."
