PARKGATE have parted company with manager Sean Hutchinson—with former boss Russ Eagle back at the helm.

Hutchinson handed in his notice after Saturday’s 8-3 thumping at Hall Road Rangers, a third defeat in four games which has seen the club slide to fifth from bottom in the Northern Counties Premier Division.

Secretary Bruce Bickerdike says the club are delighted to welcome Eagle back, with Darren Bonnington lined up as his assistant.

Saturday’s beating on Humberside was the last straw for Hutchinson as the Steelmen fell behind after just eight minutes and went on to lose 8-3.
