Cup fitness race for Millers pair

ROTHERHAM United are waiting on the fitness of defenders Ryan Cresswell and Johnny Mullins ahead of tonight's FA Cup first round replay at York City.

Team captain Cresswell came off against Oxford on Saturday with a recurring back injury while Mullins has been struggling with a calf problem since the JP Trophy tie against Huddersfield last week.

Mullins' place was taken by new loaning signing Danny Coid on Saturday but his club, Blackpool, will not let him play tonight.

"It gives us a little bit of a headache of who can play there (if Mullins is not fit)," said Moore.

Cresswell underwent intensive treatment yesterday, with young Luke Ashworth available to deputise again at centre-half should he not make it.

Looking forward to tonight's tie, Moore said: "We need the right attitude and to go and play at the right tempo. If we're anything like then I'd fancy us."

Darlington await the winners in the second round in the north east on Saturday week, before which the Millers have two important league games away to Crewe Alexandra on Saturday and at home to Northampton Town next Tuesday.

Kick-off tonight is 7.45pm.
