Despite speculation linking him with a January move to Chesterfield, the 32-year-old remains the right man for the job for Warne.

"I'm happy for Woody to wear the armband now Lee Frecklington has gone," the Millers chief told the Advertiser. "He's the natural leader of the group anyway. I don't think anyone would complain about Woody being the captain and he deserves it really. He's been a leader for years."
