BREAKING: Titans head coach leaves

ROTHERHAM Titans have lost head coach Nic Rouse - after he today penned a deal to join Championship side London Scottish.

Rouse has done an excellent job at Clifton Lane after taking over from the axed Andy Key at Christmas but has been unable to save the club from relegation.

Nevertheless, the upswing in performances haven't gone un-noticed and, despite a tempting opportunity to take over as forwards coach at Nottingham, Rouse has opted to move to the capital.

Scottish offered him the job last week, ironically after Rotherham had been hammered 49-14 at the Athletic Ground.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining London Scottish, a club I’ve enjoyed playing against during my time at Nottingham.

"The facilities are outstanding and the club environment is one that players and coaches alike can thrive in. I am also very pleased to be back in South West London with my young family.”

Rouse will remain in charge at Rotherham for next week's finale away at Nottingham.
