Boot camp has been a success, says Warne

MILLERS chief Paul Warne says the Austrian boot camp has been another big success.

The week-long stint in Austria, based south of Vienna, has been an exercise in team spirit and fitness while they played SKU Amstetten on Tuesday, drawing 0-0 and the Millers wrap it all up against Wiener Neustadt on Saturday.

"Austria has been good and the players have really worked hard," said Warne. "They've been doing treble sessions every day.

"We're a long way from match sharpness and we're trying to get the work ethic into them, so I'm looking forward to Saturday's game to see how far the lads have come.

"It's been hard work. We've got a bit of a management v players quiz today and if the players win then they'll get the afternoon off —and they'll have earned it!"
