A BUSY time at Kiveton Hall Farm where John Sanderson won last Wednesday's match with 75lbs 3ozs from peg 38.

The ever-consistent Steve Robinson was second with 74lbs 4ozs and Chris Garlick third with 52lbs 2ozs.

Section winners were Les Newton, 45lbs 15ozs, Dave Hawksworth, 45lbs 14ozs, Rowland Hill, 36lbs 6ozs and Colin Newton, 37lbs 3ozs.

Friday's match saw Steve Robinson move up a place to win with 70lbs 8ozs. Andrew Morley was second with 65lbs 13ozs while Kevin Stancil took the third place with 59lbs 4ozs. Section winners were Keith Buxton, 38lbs 12ozs, Roger Fretwell, 54lbs 6ozs, Reg Firth, 42lbs 11ozs and Ady Picton 53lbs 1oz.

Steve Robinson continued his success with another win at the venue on Saturday, this time with 95lbs 11ozs from peg 70. Andrew Gardner was second with 90lbs 3ozs and Mark Cliff third with 64lbs 6ozs.

Sunday's open saw Kevin Stancill in the top spot having caught 84lbs 1oz from what is becoming a favourite, peg 70. David Turton Jnr took the second place with 83lbs 5ozs and Tony Lawson the third with 79lbs 15ozs.

Section winners were Steve Robinson, 37lbs 1oz, (all bream), and Matt Collings, 51lbs.

A busy week too at Woodhouse Grange, where Phil Gullitt won Tuesday's match on the Cobble Lake with 132lbs 7ozs. Ian Jones was second with 114lbs exactly and Graham Martin third with 113lbs 13ozs.

Friday's match was on the Dog Kennel Lake where Tony Reeves landed the highest weight with 196lbs. Ted Wheeler had the second best with 169lbs leaving Dean Farmer's 146lbs in third place.

Saturday's match on the same lake proved even better. Lee Rowlands weighed 252lbs 5ozs to win ahead of Della Smith who had 222lbs 11ozs for second. Danny Myers was third with 213lbs 14ozs and Mark Sixsmith fourth with 165lbs 12ozs. The fourteenth man weighed 103lbs!
