All set for Dearne Valley Triathlon and Quadrathlon

Organised by Team Manvers, Sunday's event starts and finishes at Manvers Lake at Wath and is part of the British Quadrathlon Association National Trophy status, meaning athletes will be attending from all over the UK.

The kids' event sets off at 8.30am and the seniors at 9.30am. 

There are children's categories for ages 9-12, 13-16 and 16-18.

The combined triathlon and quadrathlon sees all competitors swim and then cycle. 

The triathletes then run around the lake while participants in the quadrathlon paddle around it five times before completing the running stage of the event.

Volunteers are also needed from 8am. 

The club has showers, changing rooms available, on site cafe.
