Agard wins it for Millers
Agard pounced from close range just after the hour mark to ensure reward for a dominant performance from Steve Evans’ men.
As against Exeter only a few days before, they had the boost of an early goal.

Hide AdGoalkeeper Scott Davies, under pressure, scuffed a clearance and top scorer Daniel Nardiello seized on the loose ball to drive a measured shot inside the far post after only two minutes.
The club’s top scorer got injured in the process and was off the field receiving treatment two minutes later when David Ball turned in the equaliser from a cross from Millers old boy Gareth Evans.
Rotherham reassumed control after that and forced several close calls before Agard decided the contest, lashing home after Ben Pringle’s original effort was blocked.
It sealed a third straight home win and was the perfect lead-in to two successive away games, starting with Tuesday’s derby clash at promotion rivals Bradford City.
