PUTT AND PITCH...Rotherham’s Danny Willett says it was a terrific experience when he was handed one of American sports’ top honours.
The Masters champion was invited to throw the first pitch to mark his success at Augusta as the New York Yankees took on the San Francisco Giants at the Yankee Stadium baseball cathedral.
Danny tweeted afterwards: “What a great day @Yankees. Team Willett picture on the field!!! Awesome experience!!!'”
