Town target top-four finish

A TOP-FOUR finish in the ECB Yorkshire League is still on for Rotherham Town – despite them not having to turn out last weekend.

Involved in a two-way fight for fourth spot with Yorkshire Academy, their planned meeting at Clifton Lane on Monday was washed out by the weather.

It means Mark Cummins' men remain seven points clear of their rivals with only two matches left to play. Academy have a game in hand but it is a toughie away to leaders York tomorrow.

Town finish at home to lowly Sheffield United today and away to Appleby Frodingham next weekend.

Today's match starts at the earlier time of 11.30am.
