Town face key games

TOWN face two key games this weekend if they are to clamber back into contention for a Yorkshire League top three place.

With their title hopes having faded after back-to-back defeats a fortnight ago, Arnie Sidebottom’s side had the tonic of a win—albeit a shaky one— against the league’s bottom side Castleford on Saturday.

But Sidebottom knows he’ll have to pump Town up for a challenging weekend which sees back-to-back away matches.

They head to mid-table Cleethorpes tomorrow and then head to Clifton Park to face a York side currently in second place and needing a victory to hang onto Harrogate’s coat-tails.
