TITANS have lost another key player after Doncaster Knights announced the signing of full back Sean Scanlon.

TITANS have lost another key player after Doncaster Knights announced the signing of  full back Sean Scanlon.

Irish-born Scanlon joins the Castle Park club from Clifton Lane having spent three seasons with the Titans, playing a crucial part in their play-off campaigns in 2013/14 and 2014/15.

The 27-year old started his rugby career with Irish Pro 12 powerhouse Munster Rugby, making a try-scoring debut in December 2011 versus Connacht. The speedster collected age grade international honours with Ireland Under 20s winning seven caps.

The speedster will compete in a competitive looking Knights backline which has already added Sean’s current Titans teammate Lloyd Hayes. Commenting on his switch Scanlon said that he felt enthusiastic and privileged to be joining the Knights. “I see joining Doncaster as an exciting opportunity.

“First and foremost, they are top four team. There is a quality squad being put together for next season and I'm delighted to be joining an ambitious club with great facilities and quality coaches.”
