Titans step up preparations

TITANS step up their pre-season preparations with a Probables v Possibles match at Herringthorpe Stadium tomorrow

The match will give coach Andre Bester another chance to assess his revamped squad after going down 28-21 at Macclesfield and then 37-25 at Llanelli Scarlets in anoter warm-up match last weekend.

The points came from tries by Sean Dougall, Peter Homan, a penalty try and two conversions and two penalties from Garry Law.

Bester said: "There are a couple of areas in our game that we must improve and some of the combinations didn't function as well as I had anticipated, but we have time to sort them out. All in all, we should be very happy at where we are at this moment in time."

Kick-off tomorrow is 2.30pm. Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for U16s.
