Titans sign Argentinean star

TITANS have confirmed the signing of Argentinean international lock Agustin Smidt - and he is set to make his debut in the forthcoming British ad Irish Cup clash at Doncaster.

Smidt agreed a deal to come to Clifton Lane until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has made one full start for the Pumas and several appearances for the A-team.

Coach Andre Bester is delighted with the capture, saying: "He'll bring a new dimension to the side and he'll train with us this week and should be ready for his debut at Doncaster."
