Titans hit by injury

ROTHERHAM Titans have injury problems ahead of tomorrow's home game against Cornish Pirates.

Titans’ selection has been hindered this week as only 23 players are available for selection due to injuries within the squad. In addition to long-term absentees Barney Maddison, Dan Baines, Fergus Mulchrone and Rory Pitman; other members of the squad unavailable for the match are Latu Makaafi (eye), Carl Kirwan (Calf), Garry Law (Hand), Harry Hannan (Shoulder) and Peter Homan (Foot).

As a result, Titans Head Coach Alex Codling has made eight changes to the starting fifteen. The four changes along the back line sees Ed Styles return from his loan spell at Sheffield Tigers and he starts at full back. Pale Nonu comes back into contention at inside centre, adding some bulk to the midfield. On loan Curtis Wilson returns on the wing following his enforced absence last time out against his parent club Leeds Carnegie and Jimmy Williams get the nod to start at scrum half.

Kick off is 5.15pm.
