Titans have something to prove

TITANS chief Andre Bester has told his players on the eve of tomorrow’s clash with Moseley: “Go out and prove a point.”

Bester has admitted the Clifton Lane bandwagon has slowed in recent weeks—with the RFU disciplinary hearing following incidents at Bedford last month not helping—and, as the season reaches a key period, he says it’s time the squad got back to winning ways in style.

Moseley, with former Titans Kevin Maggs and Craig West at the helm, come to town intent on causing an upset, especially after their win at London Welsh in their last away game a fortnight ago.

But, after being surprisingly beaten at home by Welsh last weekend, Rotherham know they have to up their game, with the play-offs looming large.

Said Bester: “Our intensity has slipped in recent weeks and we have to get back to where we were.

“Moseley will be a difficult side but I want the players to show the form that saw us win at their ground a few months ago.”
