This week’s speed camera locations

MOBILE speed cameras will be targeting motorists who exceed the speed limit on the borough’s roads as part of an ongoing road safety operation.

The South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will deploy officers across Rotherham as part of an ongoing bid to cut motorists’ speed and make the roads safer, from Monday (13).

The locations subject to patrols are: the A57, Anston; Doncaster Road, Conisbrough and Mexborough; Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley; Wortley Road, Kimberworth; and Bawtry Road, Wickersley.

The other roads subject to patrols were: Rotherham Road, Maltby; Wales Road, Kiveton Park,; Grange Lane, Maltby; Fenton Road, Greasbrough; Kilnhurst Road, Rawmarsh; Pontefract Road, Brampton Bierlow; Vale Road, Thrybergh; and Worksop Road, Aston.
