The Kimmy Kanter races back

The second in the KMR series, it takes place on Tuesday, June 7, starting at 7pm from Millmoor Juniors Football Ground.

The 4.5-mile route is off road and is a two-lap course.

Anybody can enter to pit their running skills against some top local athletes.

Entry fee is £5 for affiliated runners and £7 if unaffiliated.

The prize ceremony takes place afterwards at The Drawbridge pub.

That event is followed by the third race in the series, the Ulley Res, on Wednesday, June 15, starting at 7pm at Whiston Church Cricket Club.

The five-mile trail race, from Whiston to Ulley Reservoir and back, will be run under UKA Rules.

Entries (same fee as above) will be taken from 6pm and there will be category awards and refreshments afterwards.
