Teasdale back for Magna show

FIGHTER Dan Teasdale makes a return to the ring tomorrow\_for his first fight in five years.

Teasdale takes on Dean Walker at Rotherham’s Magna Centre as part of a seven-fight bill.

The Greasbrough super-middleweight hasn’t boxed since a disastrous move to light middleweight, when he suffered a first round KO at Barnsley Metrodome in 2005. He’s now fighting out of Brendan Ingle’s Wincobank gym.

Rotherham’s Nav Mansouri will top the card after an impressive display a  fortnight ago at the David Haye show in Manchester. He takes on Coventry’s Lester Walsh.

Said promoter Dave Coldwell: “It will be good to see Dan back in the ring and it should be an entertaining contest.

“Nav was special in Manchester and he now wants to put a show on for his home-town fans.”

Start time is 6.45pm and  tickets, priced £30 and £50, are available on the door.
