And as an added bonus the weather was excellent, with Sunday's storms arriving only after all the action had finished.

Among the local winners were — boys: Wickersley Youth Reds (U10s); Brinsworth Whitehill Blues (U13s); Rawmarsh St Joseph's Whites (U14s); Brinsworth Whitehill Whites (U16s).

Girls: Dearne & District (U11s).

Back in the boys section, Bramley Sunnyside U7s, Aston Swallownest U8s, Treeton Terriers U9s, Brinsworth Whitehill Whites U13s and Brinsworth Whitehill Blues U16s reached their finals.

Organisers wish to thank all referees, volunteers and visitors in making the event such a success.
