SKIPPER Ian Sharps is hoping for a positive reaction when Rotherham United go to Luton Town in the FA Cup tonight.

The side's stuttering form continued in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Burton Albion, with Rotherham squandering a two-goal lead in the last half-hour in the League Two clash.

Nick Fenton's sending-off means he sits out tonight's second-round replay through suspension and Sharps said: "Saturday felt like a defeat ,but at the of the day we didn't get beat and we took a point and we need to put on a performance at Luton now."

Adam Rundle, on loan from Rochdale, is cup tied and will sit out the tie against the non-leaguers.

The teams drew 2-2 in the first tie at Don Valley a fortnight ago.

The winners go to Southampton in the third round on January 2.
