Second Miller joins Boston

MIDFIELDER Grant Darley has become the second Millers player in a week to join Boston United.

The 19-year-old has signed with the Pilgrims on loan for a month, following defender Jamie Green, who penned a similar deal on Monday.

Darley has just completed a short-term loan deal with Ossett Town in the Evo-Stick Premier Division and joins up with former Millers Paul Hurst and Rob Scott, who are joint managers at Boston.

Yet to make a first-team appearance for the Millers, Darley has been an unused substitute against Lincoln City, Peterborough and Cheltenham.

Boston are currently riding high in the Blue Square Bet North division.

The Millers, meanwhile, dropped out of the automatic promotion frame in League Two last night due to Wycombe's 4-1 win against Burton Albion.

The result lifted Wanderers up to second spot, three points ahead of the Millers, who drop to fourth.

Rotherham are away to Burton this Saturday.
