Seaside stalemate for Ronnie' s men

THE Millers had to settle for a point from an entertaining goalless draw at League Two rivals Morecambe on Saturday.

Adam Le Fondre hit the woodwork with a terrific long-range effort in the second half and the home side also hit the post in what was the first ever league game at the Lancashire club's new Globe Arena.

Moore said: "I think we shaded it but it was a great game of football in the second half and both sides had chances."

The result left the Millers with a win and a draw from their first two league games, with a 4-1 Carling Cup reverse at Peterborough United sandwiched in between.

Cheltenham Town are the visitors to Don Valley Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
