Sadler signs in

MILLERS chief Steve Evans has increased his defensive options by signing Mat Sadler from Crawley Town.

The 29-year-old has signed a one-year deal having turned down the offer of a new contract at Crawley Town to move north.

Sadler made 51 appearances for the Red Devils last season and previously played for Birmingham City, Watford and Walsall.

He becomes Rotherham's sixth signing of the summer, joining Scott Loach, Kirk Broadfoot, Conor Newton, Jordan Bowery and Matt Derbyshire.
