Rouse looks to start with a Titans win

NEW head coach Nic Rouse is looking for a solid start to his career as Rotherham head to Harpury for the first time tomorrow.

Rouse is the club's tenth coach in 13 years following the decision to part ways with Andy Key after a 12th straight Championship defeat last weekend against local rivals Doncaster.

And Rouse willbe determined to start with a win over the second-bottom Gloucester side, one which could give them an outside chance of survival.

Said Rouse: “It’s not over. The first thing is that we need to win this Saturday. If we do then we can take it game by game.

“Beating the team just above us will give us the confidence we need and hopefully we can build from that.

“It's a great opportunity for me. I'm a relatively new and young coach and I was playing until two years ago.

“I've got a few months to roll the dice a little bit and hopefully pick up some performances and results."
