Rotherham United Women hope for good turnout at home opener

ROTHERHAM United Women are appealing for extra support at their first home league game since England's stunning success at the Euros.

AESSEAL New York Stadium hosted four matches of the tournament this summer, introducing many supporters to the women's game for the first time.

And the town's team, led by manager Peter Jarvis, would love to see new faces, including regular Millers supporters, at their home opener against Chesterfield at Roundwood on Sunday (2pm) in the East Midlands Regional Women's League Premier Division.

Admission on the gate is £3 (cash only) and season tickets will be available for £25 (adults), £16 (concessions) and free for under-16s.
