The exact number of teams to be relegated is still uncertain, but the Millers don't want to leave anything to chance, mindful that close rivals Oughtibridge could overtake them with wins from their final two fixtures.

Secretary Val Hoyle said: “It's a 'must win' for us and then it's out of our hands. At one point they said four teams out of the nine were going to be relegated. Then we heard it might be three, so it's all up in the air.

“It comes from national level, where they are trying to integrate academies into the league set-up which will have a knock-on effect lower down. They haven't decided anything, which is really poor at this stage. People are wanting to make decisions about next year and if we do go down we could potentially lose some players."

Although the Millers went down 4-0 to runners-up Lincoln United last weekend, they beat Arnold Eagles 2-0 at the start of the month and will be fancied to complete the double over their win-less opponents.

Kick-off is 2pm and all support will be most welcome.

RUFC Women will play Mansfield Town LFC in a friendly at the New York Stadium on Thursday, May 11 (7pm).
