Reserves slam Mansfield
CONOR Newton and Nicky Walker helped themselves to two goals apiece as Rotherham United reserves put Mansfield Town to the sword in the Final Third Development Cup last night.
Playing at a wet and windy Rainworth Miners Welfare, the Millers hit eight without reply, five of which came in the first half.
It was a strong side, with senior pros Richard Wood and Rob Milsom — both recovered from injury — plus Jordan Bowery, Jonson Clarke-Harris and Matt Derbyshire all getting a run-out.
