Racer signs with new team

FAST-rising Chris Hellewell has set his sights on racing in British Superbikes after penning a new deal with Phoenix Racing.

And the Whiston racer says that linking up with the Hellaby team is an exciting step forward.

He said: “This is a real,opportunity to help me gain experience and technical expertise in readiness for 2015, when I am aiming to be at BSB.

“Next year is all about striving to be in the top three in the Sportsman Elite class at Thundersport GB.

”It will mean a professional set-up with a team, a mechanic, and full maintenance of the bike including a full refresh.
