Promotion a big ask for Rotherham Titans after defeat to Huddersfield


Although Titans collected a couple of league points from the 36-31 loss after scoring five tries and losing by less then seven points, the setback allowed leaders Hull to stretch their cushion to nine points by beating Blaydon 57-17.
Hull will have to lose two of their remaining three matches to offer a chance of being caught Rotherham or Sedgley Park, who moved joint second with victory at Tynedale.

Hide AdIn an entertaing game at Huddersfield, Titans crossed the whitewash through Jamie Cooke, Kieran Curran, Harry Dunne and George Tucker before Tom Allan's converted try levelled the scores at 31-31.
However the match proved a step too far the Titans, who have been badly hit by injuries in recent weeks, and they fell to a late score from Nick Sharpe.
They return to Clifton Lane on Saturday (2pm) to take on bottom-of-the-table Harrogate.
Hull have a tricky assignment at Fylde while Sedgley host Loughborough Students.
