Praise for Millers pair

MILLERS pair Daniel Nardiello and David Noble can count on a warm handshake from their former manager tomorrow.

The duo both moved from Exeter City to the New York Stadium last summer and, says Grecians chief Paul Tisdale, there are no hard feelings.

He is also aware of the creative threat an on-song Noble can pose, even though the experienced midfield man's form has dipped of late, while Nardiello will need no motivation as he looks to add to his tally of 18 goals after an anonymous outing at Cheltenham last weekend.

Tisdale said: "We will have to keep a close eye on Dan because he can score goals and David is also a very good player. But we have our own system away from home and we will just have to stick with that and play as we know how to.

"We always part with our players on good terms so it will be no hardship for anyone to see each other again. They both worked very hard for us when they were both here and it will be nice to see them again.

"I think David was with us for three years and Dan was with us for two, but we will just have to aim to send them both home unhappy on Saturday."
