Podium treble for Brendan

THUNDERSPORT racer Brendan Mallinder celebrated the debut of his new bike with three podiums out of four races at Cadwell Park.

The Rotherham rider only took delivery of the machine a few days before last weekend’s meeting but revelled in the conditions to keep his hopes of a top three finish on track.

Mallinder, who sliced two seconds off his previous best lap time, took third place in the opening round and improved on that second time out when he won a three-way battle for top spot on the rostrum.

He then sped through the wet conditions in Sunday’s third race to take eighth before wrapping up a good weekend with another third in race four.

Brendan’s next outing will be at Oulton Park on June 28.
