Player search goes on
Having fielded new loan signings Jack Barmby, Adam Hammill and Danny Ward in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Brentord, manager Steve Evans continued fine-tuning his squad today by making Ward's move a permanent one.
He's still looking for players who can get the goals to fire the Millers to safety and expects to have more men in by the time the January transfer window closes.

"We know we need to get stronger and better and we're trying to get other people who can help us put the ball in the net and the the chairman gives us wonderful support in that.
"We'll try and add one or two but it's not six of seven, we're looking for some quality."
Ward (24) has joined for an undisclosed fee from Huddersfield, signing a contract until the summer of 2017.

Evans said Ward, Hammill and Barmby would soon be up to match fitness.

Evans added: "We should really have been out of sight by the break, but once again we've dominated and not got what we deserved. In recent weeks we've done the same and drawn, but this time they nicked it with a decent goal."
