No worries, says Bester

ANDRE Bester says Rotherham Titans are still on target to realise their ambitions, despite two defeats in a week against bottom-four sides.

The coach was left tearing his hair out after successive setbacks at Esher and, crucially, at Birmingham and Solihull on Wednesday night.

The results mean that Titans’ flirtation with the bottom four could become serious if they lose at home to rivals Doncaster tomorrow, with Bristol snapping at their heels. The West Country side, who travel to Birmingham on Sunday, still have to come to Clifton Lane for the regular-season finale.

But Bester isn’t worried about the prospect of dropping out of the top eight and remains confident his side will be in the promotion shoot-out.

“We are on course to be where we want,” he said.
