ROTHERHAM Titans have been told there will be no room for complacency against bottom-of-the-table Loughborough this weekend.

Although the Students have only four wins in National One so far, they carry real punch going forward and are one of only three teams to have scored more than 500 points.

It’s their poor defensive record which has held them back and that is something Titans, looking to back into the top five, will look to exploit at Clifton Lane tomorrow.

“It’s a good chance for us. We need to come back after a disappointing performance last week,” said head coach Joe Barker, referring to the sloppy 13-12 defeat at Sale FC.

Rotherham skipper Seb-Nagle Taylor claims lineout ball last weekend.

“Loughborough play good rugby and they have some individual talent and if you allow them then they can score points for fun. They’ve never really been heavily beaten by anyone. They just play their game and throw the ball around and we can’t have any complacency. We need to be ruthless or we could come unstuck.”

Prop-forward Jessie Williams is expected to return from injury while longer-term absentees Jamie Ure and Dan Preston-Routledge are back in training and being monitored. Full-back Sam Allan is still out.

Kick-off is 2pm.
