New deal for Millers youngster

Darley initially penned a six-month deal in the summer but has impressed sufficiently to be given an extended opportunity to force his way into Ronnie Moore's plans.

He said: "I've enjoyed my first few months with the first team and I'm obviously really happy to be given another contract.

"I've had a few injury problems which hasn't helped my progress but now I'm back fit I will continue to work hard to impress the gaffer."

Darley is yet to make a first team appearance, but was an unused substititute against Lincoln City, Peterborough and Cheltenham in August.
