Mullins back with Millers

DEFENDER Johnny Mullins is back at Rotherham United after being recalled from his loan spell with Oxford.

The centre-half returns to ease an injury crisis that has seen manager Steve Evans robbed of key players. The list has lengthened with Lee Frecklington, Alex Revell and Josh Morris all crocked in last night's surprise 3-2 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers at the New York Stadium.

Evans said: "Given the alarming and unprecedented injury crisis which it has to be said seems to be never abating, following my meeting this morning with the chairman Tony Stwart I have had sanctioned a number of proposals which include the immediate recalling of Johnny Mullins from Oxford."

The Millers chief is now pressing on to fill other gaps ahead of Saturday's trip to Exeter City.
