Moving in the right direction, says Sam

SKIPPER Sam Dickinson was pleased with the way Rotherham’s plan to play a more expansive game at Bedford worked—and it proved the team is moving in the right direction.

Back-from-injury Dickinson started at no.8 with Semisi Taulava confined to the bench with an inflamed knee and helped steer the Titans to within touching distance of what would have been a deserved victory.

“It’s a game that could have gone either way,” said Dickinson. “I’m sure Bedford will disagree but I thought we let them into the game with penalties—but whether they were all deserved penalties is questionable."

Titans face Ulster on Saturady in the British and Irish Cup. Kick off is at the earlier time of 1.30pm.
