Morris signs for Nottingham

Morris has been at Rotherham on a dual-registration with Newcastle but he’s decided to make the short hop to The Bay after meeting coach Martin Haag.

Said Morris: "Nottingham are a club that are in a very similar position to Rotherham.  

“They're challenging for the play-offs most seasons and compete well in the league.  I came down and met Martin Haag and I was very impressed with his vision for the club.  He's a top coach who I'm sure will help me develop as a player.

"It's a new challenge for me which I'm looking forward to.  Nottingham have a lot of strength in the back row already so I'm sure I'll learn a lot from them."

Meanwhile, Titans face London Scottish at Abbeydale on Saturday needing just a point to make mathematically certain of their play-off place - although it will be one of rugby's biggest upsets at this level if Nottingham manage to brdge a 126 point gap.
