Millers wary of Gills threat

ROTHERHAM United chief Ronnie Moore is promising a more cautious approach from his team at Gillingham tonight.

After three straight away defeats, he believes it is time the Millers became more difficult to beat.

Rotherham defeated Crewe Alexandra 3-1 at Don Valley Stadium on Saturday but expect a sterner test at a ground where they have not won for 22 years.

The Gills sit five points behind the Millers in League Two.

Moore said: "We won and put a gap between ourselves and Crewe on Saturday and we have to try and do the same to Gillingham now.

"Last year when we went away we were difficult to beat. We had two banks of four and invited teams to try and break us down and we pinched results by counter-attacking.

"This year I've been a bit more adventurous but on Tuesday we'll be back to making sure we've two banks of four.

"We have enough pace in the team to counter-attack."

Kick-off at the Priestfield Stadium is 7.45pm.
