Millers still well placed

ROTHERHAM United remain in the automatic promotion frame in League Two despite being out of action at the weekend.

The postponement of Saturday's home game against Shrewsbury Town due to a waterlogged pitch at Don Valley Stadium gave both Wycombe and Bury the chance to climb above Ronnie Moore's men.

But Wycombe lost at home to Accrington while Bury drew at Gillingham, leaving the Millers in third spot.

They travel to Burton Albion on Saturday, by which time they hope to have striker Ryan Taylor back from injury.

Moore is also still working to bring right-back Danny Coid in on a month's loan although parent club Blackpool are understood to want him to go out for three months.

Coid has already had a two-month spell with the Millers, the maximum loan period allowed being three months, thus limiting their options and their chances of bringing him back.
