Millers in charity match

MILLERS manager Steve Evans is lending his support to a charity match tonight in tribute to a poorly local footballer.

Rotherham Sunday League champions AFP take on Rotherham United's development squad at Swallownest Miners Welfare ground (6.45pm) in honour of former player Steve Burns, who has Motor Neurone Disease.

Admission is £3, with proceeds going to the Motor Neurone Disease Foundation, and there will also be signed Millers shirts and footballs up for grabs in the raffle as well as the opportunity to join a photo shoot (6pm-6.30pm) with first team members at £1 a go.
