Millers held by Wycombe

ROTHERHAM United had to be content with a point from their visit to Wycombe Wanderers tonight, drawing 2-2.

Trailing to Joel Grant’s early goal, the Millers hit back with two second-half strikes from Daniel Nardiello and looked on course for victory until substitute Gary Doherty nodded in ten minutes from time to ensure honours ended even.

Grant turned in a cross from Bruno Andrade after only seven minutes amidst Rotherham appeals for offside.

Nardiello headed the equaliser from an excellent Liam Ridehalgh cross six minutes into the second half and then slid a shot inside the post from Ben Pringle's centre just past the hour mark before Doherty’s late leveller.
